i dont like how IWD2 tells how much damage each type does and BG2 just puts it in one easy number for you when damage is done

I failed to understand that.

"i dont like how IWD2 tells how much damage each type does and BG2 just puts it in one easy number for you when damage is done"

You say that IWD2 uses to many 2difficult" numbers ? like 1D8+1 while Baldurs Gate 2 uses only 2-9 ? or am I totally misunderstanding here ?

IDW2:

3 fire damage dealt
12 slashing dealt
4 acid dealt

BG2:

19 damage dealt

the whole point is that it lets u see how much u did without having to scroll up and add em together

Ah, well i see your point, but i would really like to see what sort of DMG i did as well, since in 3rd ed rules you are often a bit more dependent upon different dmg types than in 2nd ed. but it shuld have been made into for ex:

Did 45 Dmg to orc (40 slashing, 4fire, 1acid)
