About backstab damage multiplier

My Valen manged to do "septuple" damage once, recently.
Now she does quintuple.
She's barely beyond 2,500,000 xp (done the vampire hunters fight) ... I wonder what the appropriate multiplier at that level should be?
Also, are there some items/effects that increase(/decrease) backstab damage that I'm not aware of?
I have quietus, and it currently brings her multiplier to x6.
Where could that x7 have come from? Any ideas?
