Was anyone here approached by the Overhaul/(gag)bg3 project?

I was briefly one of the (many) BGEE testers, that's as far as it went for me.

Really? Obsidian could've made the game 4 yrs ago? What is wrong with Atari. Honestly! Whatever. I don't even care anymore.  :P :-Zzz

What's this about Obsidian?  Maybe they didn't want to comply with Atari/Hasbro's ridiculous rules on morality or something equally restrictive.  Maybe they were busy with any one of the many titles they've released since.  Or, finally, maybe they like myself think the story ended with ToB and realized the community added SO much they should leave well enough alone.

Stop kissing me :p

What is wrong with Atari(/Hasbro).. was that a serious question or should I pay attention to the end of that juxtaposition?

Omg. too many emoticons! :p
But your response... so blast atari then, damn you!  I was asking that in a rhetorical manner, as in: is that what you were asking?

Er.. my head just farted.

Paragraphs? I don't do paragraphs. :-D

I am not going to source a quick Google search... of for goodness sake here:

I thought you two were talking about BG ee 3 not bg ee 1 or whatever version of bg ee you were talking about.

Do you know if any of the other major modders here were contacted?  icelus, simDingo, ghreyfain, or weimer himself?

Yeah, let's ask about all the retired people if they wish to come back to work, after all we have non functioning contact info and all.

I can tell you that the bigg and then Wisp, our former and current weidu.exe updaters was contacted, as was Erephine, K'aeloree, CamDawg, Miloch, Cuv, Yovaneth ... or more like they contacted the EE people.

I told Wes about it once things started to go public (I have a hazy recollection that the EE guys asked me to try to put them in touch), and tried very very very hard to contact Sim but have been unable to reach him.

there's a bigg diff between being contacted and contacting, as I'm sure you're aware, Imp. I'm just trying to find out what was what. You may or may not know, I raised a bigg stink in places and payed the price. No one should have to contact devs, first of all. And I was/am glad to hear they contacted you all.
