Title: downloading problem

Hey, hopefully someone here can help me with this and I'll preface my question by saying that I have Vista and this issue never came up on my old XP comp.

Whenever I download this mod and attempt to extract the folder, it comes up with a message that the folder is empty. Can anyone tell me how to rectify this?

Download Assassinations via a download plugin(Flashget from http://flashget.com works for me), then unpack Assassinations_v5.exe and Readme-Assassinations.txt from Assassinations_v5.zip via Winzip(if you have Total Commander - and I recommend this program - it will allow you to get into the archive automatically), then, whenever you are ready to install the mod, click Assassinations_v5.exe twice, and the mod will install.

The zip file for version 5 doesn't work for me as well. I tried downloading it on two different computers and it keeps complaining that it can't find the zip file directory.

Okay, I just did a test download, and things work here. Try following my recommendations in the post above.

Folks, I had two reports in a week - and right after the release. Perhaps something _is_ wrong? Those of you who experienced such a problem, and those of you, who installed Assassinations v5 for Windows successfully, please, post here.

I downloaded Assassination v5, and it worked only after changing the extension.

At first, I could not open the zip file.  However, after I changed it to a rar file (just renamed the file from assassination_v5.zip to assassination_v5.rar), it opened fine.

I suspect that it will work if you change the extension to lzh or 7zip file, as well.

Thank you so much for explaining the problem.

Fixed by re-archiving and re-uploading. I hope this zip file will work fine for everyone now.
