Title: NPCs/Summons Set Off Traps
Post by: Salk on September 18, 2007, 05:37:14 AM
Hello!

Could somebody tell me if it's possible (in that case, how) to modify the code for this component so that only Summons and not NPCs set off traps?

I am asking because I find a bit unrealistic that enemies set off their own traps while I believe it's fair that Summons wouldn't know about their existence.

Thanks!

Or, alternatively, it should be made completely fair: not only should NPC's set off their own traps, but the PC's should also trigger traps set by any thieves in the party.

Find the component that BEGINs with the .tra reference @55, and in the code below it, comment out this line:

Code: [Select]
WRITE_BYTE ("%triggeroffset%" + ("%currenttrigger%" * 196) + 96) ("%triggerflags%" BOR 64)

Just like the Mastercard ad in Australia (and perhaps other countries as well)...some things are priceless.

Those ads are universal (differently from other brands, the tag line is translated from contry to country, though).

Which brings me to question: does Vigorsol exist outside of Italy and, if so, do they have the farting squirrel ad also in your country? If you don't know what I'm talking about: see it on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSbt3LXv3vQ) (warnings: video, audio, not safe for serious environments). They also made a censored version (where the squirrel blows air out of the less rude end of the digesting tube).

To the moderator: give me thanks for keeping your topic-splitting skills up to date  :D
