Title: Vagabond Life
Post by: CORVIS TERRIBLE MOUNTAIN GOD on December 16, 2005, 06:12:28 PM
Some people-- mostly IRC People-- may have noticed I haven't been around the past two days. That's because I and most of my family have been kicked out of our house. I spent Wednesday night and a good part of Thursday with three other people in a car smaller than some closets.

Currently I am at my Aunt's house, but there are nine other people here and their computer is riddled with spyware and other problems, so my connection is still less than reliable. We're hoping to have this resolved soon, but god only knows how it's all going to work out.

See you when I see you.

I hope it'll be OK, Corvis. And I'm sure it'll be OK

The sleeping in the car is a particularly distressing element - the only way to make this activity at all bearable is to be thoroughly drunk.
Where is a nice comfy stable when you need one? Preferably with plumbing and cooking facilities.
Hope you return to comfort and privacy soon.

EDIT: Lu, don't ask him. He will respond and you will find you preferred being puzzled.

The last time I slept in a car, I was lost in Virginia. Ah, memories.

At any rate, I don't really know you, but you have my sympathy.

Oh, hehe. I don't know how that happened. :P

What I meant to say was that I'm not sure if your IRC comment was sarcasm or not, but just in case: IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat. It's basically IM.

If that was sarcasm, whatever.

Eral: Come on, it's almost the holidays? Can't you be nice for once in your life?

Edit: Spelling

discharger, you will have to do a lot more work before we can engage in spirited debate. At your current stage of development, where you are still building your vocabulary and are still not confident enough to espouse ideas that are not allegedly your mother's - well, to be blunt, you're just not interesting enough. Keep working at it though. In another ten years you might actually have enough sense to say something funny. I know there are people who think clever will be beyond your grasp, but who knows?  Maybe with enough patience and support from all of us here, you'll get there.

Now, back to Corvis' sad situation.

God. I had a friend who had to live out of his car for an extended period of time. It's terrible. I'm sorry to hear about that, Corvis. I hope things improve quickly.

Corvis, once again I'm really sorry that all that stuff happened to you, and you know it without this post
And I'm sorry that I asked these guys about all this crap, too (and you know it as well already)

And I don't know, discharger12, why we both brought all this crap here --Are you kidding, Lu
--No, I'm not kidding  --But you must be kidding --...
And I don't actually care about all this IRC and IP and crap. I can live without knowing what this is, sure enough

Sorry to hear that. I hope things'll improve soon... so at least you'd be able to spend Christmas in a more comfortable place. I don't really know you, but good luck to you.

Tough Luck, Corvis, hope you'll sort it out soon. Dunno if that'll help but I once lived for a month in a car. There are only two us (nothing of that whatever you're thinking) but it was a two seat car... and I only ate bread with onions through that month... and now have fond memories of that. So cheer up!

You know Corvis, even in the midst of your own troubles (and until an individual has slept either in a car crowded with a minimum of 3 other people or at their Aunty's house with a dud computer and 9 others, they will never know what suffering is) you are still able to show consideration for the feelings of others. Your example is inspiring.
As much as I would like to lighten your load and bring some cheer to the troubled times you are in, crushing dis with a few well-chosen words is too much like running over a cockroach witha bull-dozer. It's just too easy. What about someone else?

It's not who you crash but how you crash. I'm sure Corvis would agree.

Still unaware of any sarcasm. :P It's just not my thing [on the internet].

IM is instant messenger . Like AIM - Aol's Instant Messenger. Aol is American on Line. (Trying not to use anymore of those)

Discharger - SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP
Title: Re: Vagabond Life
Post by: Lu on December 17, 2005, 01:00:57 PM
Here is what I want to tell you, Discharger. I have know idea what was the reason for
your yesterday's stubborness, and I don't care. I was really upset yesterday about
bad luck that befell Corvis, being but a silly wench didn't know which words were
appropriate in the case, started asking instead "what's this thingy, what's that thingy",
because of embarrassment, and finally got myself involved by you in this "You are being
sarcastic  --No I'm not --Yes, you are..." crap, of which I regret. And all was about crap
that doesn't bother me at the least, besides
If you meant to just show me what a smartie you are, and what and idiot I am, then go
ahead, dude. Call me a stupid gal at home or at PPG, I don't care, being a thick-skinned
 chick
But somehow those dear to me got annoyed by you, and I don't care what particularly
it was about, being a silly wench, I only don't like when someone gets them annoyed
So you definitely did smth that upset some people, and I don't like it. And I don't
like being upset too, being usually slow to be driven into emotions, especially negative
 those
But you were the one who started all this CRAP, and I take it wasn't the first time,
by what Eral said. OK, I hope you knows what I mean
   Sincerely yours
Lu the Idiot (I am not being sarcastic here - is this plainly said thingy clear?)

Woah, woah, woah! I think your're getting the wrong idea here! I was just trying to help you figure what those terms meant, but I wasn't sure if the way you said them were meant as a sort of "What is/who is" when it is obvious the person knows it. (Such as Andyr, for example - and no, this isn't a bash on him in the slightest)

I have absolutely no clue of what you're trying to say.. all I can see is that you think I'm trying to make you seem stupid and me smart. That's not what I was trying to do at all, I was just trying to help.

When you say I started this crap... I don't know how. All I was doing was trying to help you. I'm sorry I'm so fucked for doing that.

You should try it too, Lu, it's marvellously freeing. I see why you are normally not encouraged to say it.

I had a dream. A wonderful, wonderful dream, which I shall now present to you in a play of one short act.

(enter Doscharger)

DOSCHARGER: And lo, here is my pink and succulent underbelly! Note that it is waxy and soft, and defended against neither dagger nor musket!

DOSCHARGER: (aside) Maybe this time they'll like me! Verily, no man here could ever hope to remember my compulsive lying and opinions of women in the workplace!

(Enter the massed PPG FORUM PEOPLE. They are carrying STEAK KNIVES and SHIVS of various size and description)

FORUM PEOPLE: you got a real pretty mouth boy

(They fall upon Doscharger, and he is slain)

You should put that story in the Fan Fic. Everyone will love it. It may even be more of a favourite than your Bad Kelsey ending.

Tastes differ, Eral. I hope he'll shut up towards you, one day. As for myself, I explicitly and 'witnessedly' say, go ahead, Disharger, tell the rest of the world that there's an idiot at PPG who not only doesn't know what this ABCDEFG means, but doesn't even care to learn. I hope it'll make him feel better. And I'm not being sarcastic here, Discharger, I mean it, a slow and thick-skinned wench, raised on a farm in the North, if you knows what I mean. There's no ABCDEFG, mister, gotta milk them cows first

Brief update, as there are some people who need to know.

Still bouncing around. Writing this from home, but uncertain where I'll be tomorrow. I've retrieved most of my files, so I'll be able to produce something tomorrow if I have internet access.

JC would think us hopeless without Corvis, folks. Poor Discharger is kinda the limit for the rest of us, even as a band, when we yell
All together now: "Shut up, Discharger, and go back to work. To Mods in Progress list. And don't miss smth, like e.g. all those hosted by PPG"
