Who is Indira (https://www.pocketplane.net/bg1tutu-enhancements/), you ask?  Read on, and find out!

The One-Day NPC (https://www.pocketplane.net/one-day-npcs/) concept was originally conceived by Jason Compton of PPG, who I believe was just feeling left out since he couldn't participate in any of the Iron Modder (https://www.pocketplane.net/iron-modder-competition/) competitions (what with being the Insane Overlord for the competition and all). The basic idea is that you make an NPC as complete as possible within a 24 hour time-span. I took this idea and proceeded to make a complete and total mockery of it, and present to you: Indira. It took about four months to make, mainly because I procrastinated as only I can.

Due to some coding issues, I was unable to make her compatible with BG1 sans Tutu (https://www.pocketplane.net/bg1tutu/), and so converted her to a Tutu-compatible format. As of v13, the mod is compatible with Tutu, BGT, BG:EE, and EET directly.

Indira is a young lass on the look-out for excitement and adventure.  Combine a small measure of Alora's perkiness, Minsc's naivete, Imoen's pranks, and you've got yourself a good idea of what Indira's like.  She's a half-elven, lawful good fighter/mage from an area just east of the Baldur's Gate region. She has banters with all BG1 NPCs except Branwen, Coran, Ajantis, Faldorn, and Skie, for a grand total of 20... I think. Other features of note include:

 - Custom portrait
 - Original soundset
 - Unique armour

Through voice/soundset alone, she's my favourite BG1 character already. Well done, Stoplight and Ghrey.  ;D

Bons did the portrait.  It was based on some model or other, but I've lost the link to it.  And yeah, I agree, I'm very pleased with the portrait. :)

I'm hoping you realised the voice was entirely hers.  I sound entirely more manly than that, really, I swear.  Gravelly, almost.  Yeah.

Ghrey did everything. I just sent him so many voice files that he quavered when he had to choose.

Yes, that and add/delete/change a few words here and there from the script I'd written. ;)

Tho I have not actually installed and played with Indira its seems as if, in most of her banters she is only speaking in reaction to Bio NPCs and even then she doesn't say much that tells me about her personallity or it's as if she shuts down the conversations too quickly or something

I've gotta say you should listen to them in-game.  The voice, the BG music, the scenery; they all add to the experience and make it seem cool.

Hi - if I install this with the other BG1Tutu mod (the NPC project thing that adds banters and stuff for all the bioware npcs) will everything be compatible?

Yep.  Version 6 of the banter packs has had a minor tweak added to it just for that purpose, and Indira has some code so as not to overwrite Imoen's banter file.

Has this changed since the mod was originally released?  I was looking at having Branwen and Ajantis in the party and (thus far) I'm enjoying all the banter...

I've been toying with the idea of giving her some more dialogue and stuff, but as it is there's lots on my plate already.  Maybe some time down the road, but not any time soon, no.

And...

lol.  I won't hold my breath...  In any case, us beggars can't be too demanding!   ;D 
I managed to pick her up yesterday and thus far (aside from being quite the cutie) she's a fine addition.  I haven't had her banter with anyone yet, but the voice work that I've heard (on reputation going up, selecting, etc.) is d@mn good.  Great job (and Stoplight Red too)!

If you have Mur'Neth installed, version 6 of Indira is going to be uploaded shortly, which features banter between the two.  Voiced, even.

just installl over the top, or uninstall the previious Indira, and reinstall?
Or just say the heck with the new one, I don't have Mur'Neth anyway?

The new one only adds the Mur'Neth content, so yeah, it's not necessary that you update.  But for anyone out there reading this thread, installing over top should be fine, since WeiDU will prompt a re-install, as opposed to install without the re-. :)

There shouldn't be any adverse effects, no.  The banter with Mur'Neth ought to work fine, too.

Have you got voicing from JC and Red for it? Or just Red as of yet?

If both, I'll put the actual sounds in the Mur'Neth end soon too.

I have the Red sounds in there, but not Jason's.  Even if the banter isn't installed, the .ogg's get decoded, so they'll be there if and when Mur'Neth is installed at a later date.  I recommend doing the same for Mur'Neth, if Indira is installed later.

She can't seem to learn low lvl spells from BG2. It claims they aren't of her class.

Version 5 has been uploaded. It fixes a bug with text strings being all out of whack if you use EasyTutu. This was because of my laziness and not MacReady's or anything, just to clarify.

Indira updates to v13 and is now available at the Pocket Plane GitHub Download (https://github.com/Pocket-Plane-Group/Indira_NPC/releases)!

Vesion 13 comes with an improved Russian translation by yota13 and EET compatibility by tipun and jastey.
It's flagged as a pre-release for now. Please let me know if you encounter problems!

Changelog:
- EET compatibility added.
- Russian translation completed and improved by yota13.
- Banter triggers are more stable (banter should only start if both NPCs are in the group and can talk).
