You cannot import your game, but you can import your character. Normally the game takes all your items from you at the very beginning of BG2; however, there is an exploit. Keep all the items you want to import on your character, and when BG2 starts, hit space bar(pause) quickly - before the cutscene with Irenicus starts. Then quickly place the equipment on the ground. This way, after the cutscene ends, your character is stripped of equipment and gold, but all the items are still on the ground.

I know about the faq, I figured it out myself (the moving saved games), but I wanted to know if it was possible to carry over your items. Isnt that what happens if you import a bg1 game???? (I dunno since I've never done it non tutu.
