Oh, and after a brief conference (ooh, sounds professional, don't it?) it's been determined that SG() sucks, and SetGlobal() would've been a better idea.  Expect a patch that removes the SG() actions and replaces them with SetGlobal().  At least in the Tutu version.  I suppose someone can do it for BGT if you let them know, too.

Try finding out what the global "J#PirateFight" is set to.  It should be at 2 if you've gone to fight the pirates and save Sil.

I am playing Sirine's Call, BGT and I can't tell Sil that I killed the bunch in the old light house.  I searched all 3 building.  Do I need to do more?
