Yeah, I think there was probably never a particular reason to install UB after SCS, just something I did arbitrarily one time and ended up copying for subsequent installs. Thanks for the input.

I've so far always installed UB -> QP -> SCS, and noticed no ill effects.  I don't think that there's much in UB and QP that conflicts, and SCS is a patch mod that should go last, especially if you want its AI enhancements.

I'm interested in that as well - this note wasn't in 2.3, so I guess there's some specific reason it was added.

However, I've traditionally installed SCS after quest pack, so that the SCS AI is used, but I've also traditionally installed UB after SCS. Unfortunately I no longer recall whether there was a specific good reason for that or not, so I'm not sure if I should change it to UB->QP->SCS, or SCS->UB->QP (and not worry about the SCS AI), or what.

Does anyone have any ideas?

The Readme states:

'Quest Pack should be installed AFTER Unfinished Business.'

Is this correct? The guys over at BigWorldProject have been recommending installing Quest Pack before UB for years.

I am having a problem when installing the additional Additional Shadow Thieves Content from the quest pack. I get an error on the mvpries.cre file saying that it has an invalid sub string.

I get this error when I install the quest pack after divine remix v8. When I don't have the remix installed everything installs correctly.

I haven't tried installing remix after the quest pack due to that I think something in the divine remix is preventing me from starting a new game.

Thanks.

Nah, actually I just didn't see the version history without ctrl+fing. Sorry.

The only thing that was changed since beta 5 was the string-termination bug that prevented Potions of Mirrored Eyes from protecting against certain gaze attacks.

Hook71, I think Almateria asked what changed between last v3 beta 5 and fully released v3.
