Hi, it's because fraps records the window's size in its native proportion, even when stretched by your graphics card

YouTube displays videos in 16:9 aspect ratio.  1600x1200 has an aspect ratio of 12:9, so it's probably YouTube filling that extra width with black.

Doubtful. The original video is still on my harddrive. It looks that way in the video.

As far as I know, since I have Fraps set to Full-size, it should be doing the entire resolution I have. Unless there are some weird hidden settings, nothing is jumping at me. Everything in the past has recorded at the resolution I had it.

Perhaps it's because I'm playing the game at 1600x1200 while my actual resolution on my PC is 1920x1200. Just speculation.

The recording software is most likely recording the video on a different resolution than the game is played with... what recording program do you use ?

I believe Fraps was mentioned.

I am not a person that can answer "how to record games on 1600x1200 ? And how upload them to tube..." cause I have never done anything like that, and they say I am a crazy person, but I am sure someone else can, if you just answer the above, and it has the capability to do so.

The video fraps is making is not representative of what I'm actually seeing.

Here's a screencap of my game http://i.imgur.com/Y0pyVZO.jpg

Notice the lack of black bars on either side?

Can you explain what your problem actually is?

So, here's another issue maybe someone could take a stab at.

I have the widescreen mod set to 1600x1200 (anything bigger, in my mind, is too much).

Messing around, I uploaded a video on youtube and this is the result https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMd9K52RjaY

Any idea why fraps recorded it different than what I see on my screen?
