Hello,

I would like to propose an little update for Xan’s French soundset / XanMini...

The current version crashes for BG2EE / EET, due to a wrong encoding in tp2.

Here is the link to the new version.

Changelog :

- tp2 traification

- move files and folders

- Add iconV and Handle Charset

- Move display of readme

I know this is mostly for French players, but if you want to update the archive on this page, that would be cool!

I meant the link in the first post - it's leading to a "this site doesn't exist so your internet provider spams you with adds" site.

But I think all audio mods I was looking for are available here:

The link doesn't work any more. Does anyone have these audios?

Is the updated BG2 sounds included into the BG2 main mod?

1) which link? yes, they are included

2) I'm happy to help, but I'm NOT on the forums anymore. At all. Please PM me if there's a problem.

You were absolutely right! it's something bunk with my firewall, i just snagged it and unpacked it on my netbook and moved the files directly over to my art laptop. Thanks for such a speedy response, though, and I appreciate the help!

Hi! I don't have access from work, but I'll try re-downloading from my home computer. I think it should work, though, yes - maybe download in an hour or two with a different browser?
If it still doesn't, let me know with an e-mail address, I'll e-mail you the version - and, again, I'll check the download.

Hello! Sorry for bringing this thread up from the dead, but I tried to unpack the zip and it says the file is broken? tried re-downloading several times on two different networks. Is this an issue on my end or is the zip file corrupt?

All Xan soundsets for Baldur's Gate 2 have been updated for version 10 (with a happy ending for Xan's bonded path, yes).

It includes the original BG1 soundset by Jeff Bennett, the French soundset, voiced by the original French actor and graciously provided by Eleima, and Polish ones, including Lava's soundset and Lava's Audio Revolution(full voicing for Polish players!).

Since Xan's release for BG2, quite a few players asked to preserve old BG1 soundset for Xan in BG2. Well, better late than never, they say, so here it is, available here.

It's not an exact copy of the soundset used in BG1 NPC, because it uses "rare" lines by BG1 actor, Jeff Bennett, as well as "regular" ones. (The rare ones being "It is hardly worth the effort of trying", "We delude ourselves to think our pitiable band will stand up to our enemies", "I'll do what I can, but expect very little", and, of course, "Let us save our effort and just lie down and die").

A reminder: French and Polish players can enjoy BG2 soundsets for Xan in their own language(there are actually two soundsets for Polish players: the "official" one and the one by Lava Lava Del'Vortel). And for those who enjoy Xan's BG2 actor, SisterVigilante, you can take your BG2 soundset into your BG1 playing experience, as well.

All Xan soundsets are available here: http://www.pocketplane.net/audio
