Map notes installed, aye.  I installed Sirine's Call before I installed Tutu Tweaks.  As George Costanza:  "Was that wrong?  Should I not have done that?"

FW3600.are sent to you via email.  Good luck!

Do you guys by any chance have the Map Notes component of TutuTweaks installed? I tried installed it before or after Sirine's Call and it didn't help me cause a crash or anything, but it'd be good to know.

Also, can someone send me the file FW3600.are from a game that crashes like this? ghreyfain at pocketplane.net

The text string problem should be fixed in version 5. I'm still not sure what causes the map bug, since I can never reproduce it.

Just ran into the same problem: map-clicking crashes the game.  Also, as someone else mentioned, I'm getting lines from other dialogue from both Sil's bunch AND the pirates during combat.  Yes, I betrayed them all.  Who are you to judge me?  >:(

Anyhoo, I'm PMing you my Tutu Weidu file, Ghreyfain, because...it seems like that's the thing to do on these boards whenever there's a bug.  I'm sure it will make fascinating reading.  Or you can just trash it.  I'm good either way.  8)

Sure would be nice to be able to click on the map in the lighthouse section, though.  I'm just sayin', is all.

I can't duplicate the bug.  I just went and played the quest again to make sure, checking the map after each time I had any dialogue or a battle, and it didn't crash.  Do you have any other mods installed?  If you uninstall them, does the crash still happen *after starting a new game?

*Areas are stored in saved games, so any changes made to an area would only take effect in a new game, or from a saved game in which that area hasn't been visited.
