My stupidty -- been so long since I played BG1 - can't just bop from one area to another - have to go to the places in between.

Damn! Tried going there directly from High Hedge and the area doesn't light up on the map to show it is accessible. Problem is I'm past the saved game before this load.

That's right - quest is located, as well as lighthouse ;), in the FW3600.

Trouble is, normal map travel isn't getting me there.
Perhaps you were confused by the fact that there's no way to travel southward from FW3100? Still, you could acces lighthouse area by going north from FW3600 (where archeological dig is), like myself, and, most probably, by going westward from FW3200 (HighHedge) or FW3700 :)

Had the buggy v3, uninstalled and installed V4.  Went to the area directly south of Candlekeep (FW3100) on the map and Jaheira makes her speech about the Sirines.  Howver, no lighthouse, no Sil, and no pirates!  Just lupines, a madman, a shipwreck and a couple of hostile sirines!

Looked at the readme and it refers to an entirely different area (FW3600) to start the quest.  Trouble is, normal map travel isn't getting me there.  I had to CUAConsole myself there to get Minsc give his speech about the 'blue skinned, enthralling ladies'.

So what am I doing wrong or where is the trigger to get to this place?

Thanks.
