"the book" of bg2 says nothing about Charisma and sorcerers, only intelligence.

To satisfy the "but the book says..." remaining suspicions, I did the same thing with identical sorcerers with Cha 9 and Cha 18.  Same results for Int 9 vs. 18 - i.e., no difference.

As JC pointed out in the thread I linked previously, too low of an Int (8?) will make your sorc unable to cast spells off scrolls, but that's about it regarding their class mechanics.  No bonus/penalty to number of spells known per level, no difference in number of spells cast per day, or level of spell castable, or even number of high-level abilities.
