ok so my evil bhaal spawn has gained the powers of dark taint and hand of murder however.

They don't do anything, I get a nice looking spell effect but I see no visible after effects.

I used Clua console to create an orc and cast dark taint at him. Nothing. No matter how many times I try I see no effect beyond the grapthical. The same is true for Hand of Murder.

Regeneration works fine, as did gaining the 25% resistance to physical damage, but the other powers do nothing. I checked the spell files and from what I can see they should work. but don't.  Help?
