Oh no, I don't propose a change of rules for the regular contest, that would defeat the purpose of it. But yeah, a sort of side-contest would be neat. But i'm not really gonna argue for it, just a suggestion.

I demand a recount. Or at least like a run-off IM election. It must suck to have worked under such stringent deadlines on something and then not even get a chance to enter it in the competition. It could be like the... copper modder contest.

Meh. I know where I screwed up and I fixed it. I knew I wasn't going to DETHRONE THE LLAMA or anything. Sometimes you just play to play. (And I know to delete creature scripts and give them the right dialogues for next time.)

I'd like to do something like Junkyard Wars: make two teams of three, give each team an expert, give the teams a goal, then give the teams some stuff that has to be included in the mod, like a creature, or dialogue, or a script, or something. Give a slightly longer build time (say, six hours instead of four), an hour for cleanup, and a live-action judging. I'm trying to find other folks interested in it.

Nah.  If there was lax enforcement of the rules, it'd suck most of the fun away from the whole Iron Modder thing.  Anyone who finishes up their entry gets it included in the download pack, anyways.  That's a prize, as it is. :)

At least I wasn't alone in not having a score... 4 modders out of 6 without a score. That's... unusual. But a relief, that I wasn't alone in failing.

Congratulations to Bons, of course. To neriana, as well, who managed to get a score.

As for my own sake, I say: IM5. IM4 was just to see and learn. You just wait and see! Scripting-errors are going bye-bye.

And I'll fix my entry, asap. I'm at work now, but I'll correct the errors as soon as I get the chance.

did you like the song?

anyone who had the guts to make a pants mod deserved a song... ;) ;) ;)
Loved the song...

Anyway, I'm going to fix those damn scrpits, and then you can all enjoy the quest for Faralathin's pants.

Hey, no one who even tries this could be considered to have failed.  As anyone who's done it can testify, it's quite the challenge, yes?  Not to pat myself on the back or anything, but I've got a lot of respect for anyone who even tries this.

Yes, it's by no means an easy feat, everybody should understand that.

I fully agree with the Iron Pirate on this one, its sure a tough little cookie to crack and whilst I am rusty, I'm gutted the damn thing work.  I'll be fixing it up for the IM4 pack in the next few days for something a little closer to my grand design.

Still, I tried and I can take some small comfort in that my entry isn't the only one thats buggered.  Congrats to all and snudry I say, it was tough.

And lastly, shame on ye Jason, where's the prizes the??

*Hands a bunch of plastic roses to Bons*

Congrats ;D

Yes, it's a challenge, alright.

You're right, of course...

Yeah. Right. You've never done this before...
