If they don't keep their stuff on import, it's a bug.

Sure, it makes more sense not to have it, but it's not an accurate port of BG1 that way.

Actually, yes, you can import a ToB end-character.  I'm not sure if he'd have all the gear and stuff, but he'd still be level 40 and have his HLAs.

I often use the ToB generic start characters in order to test stuff.  Can't remember if they have their stuff with them, though.  Now that I think about it, I bet they do.

No.  The conversion is meant for a new first-level character, like BG1 proper.

I have played through BG2.
Now I want to use the same character in BG2 to play BG1.
Can I do that by using tutu and import the BG2 character to BG1?
