I did the alternate option with Rayic and bought the ring off him, but then I went back and told him I wasn't going to go along with his plan (or whatever that dlg option is) and killed him.  Then I went back to Edwin and told him Rayic was dead.  I finished the next two quests (papers from Marcus and dagger from thief) and reported back to Mae'Var.  I asked him if there was anything else I should do and then went upstairs to talk to Edwin like he told me.  But Edwin only asks me if I'm so stupid as to need directions to the basement where Mae'Var is and tells me to go there.  That's all he says, and talking to Mae'Var again doesn't change this.  I think the variable that says I completed the dagger part of the quest wasn't changed.  I also have the Edwin Romance installed, but that shouldn't make any difference before I even have Edwin.  Does anyone know the CLUA commond to fix this (in exact syntax please :-) )?

I reckon I've fixed this, but I'll have to check. How do you get one if you side with Aran in chapter 3?

If you fully explore the level, you can talk to a nameless Shadow Thief who proposes asassinating Aran. He is overheard and immediately killed whether you help or not, and the ring drops on his body.

He's in the room where Aran's mage buddy hangs out if you're fighting them.

After completing the Carrack quest in Chapter 3, there is no Booter to provide the prison key when wiping out the Shadow Thieves in Ch. 6.
The new torturer will now carry a key.

One of Aran's named henchmen drops a Ring of Lockpicks (can't recall if it was the fighter or the mage), which you should get from him if fighting them while working for Bodhi, but not while working for Brega, as you presumeably already got one.

It's a testament to my recent activity that this has been reported at least 3 times and I *still* haven't fixed it. Expect a new release soon.

Somebody may have mentioned these before.

How about a delay that is less than a day?  Meronia DID just come from the Harper Hold, which is in Athkatla, and 6 hours or so can go by pretty fast.

Now, onto my problem.  When I exit the underdark with Nazariel's phylactery (I was beginning to think this was going to be a Kangaxx type quest), I successfully got the exp, the statement over my head saying I finished, and a completely stuck game.  Charname was supposed to follow the elf to go talk to General Solvidaas, but instead he just remained stuck in the cinematic state.  I had another problem with my cinematics during the Githyanki ambush when Kish comes to get the holy of holies, so I can only assume this has nothing to do with quest pack.  However, I think it might be a good idea to put a timer on Nazariel's phylactery disappearing or some other way to finish the quest (perhaps place it into his grave in the North Forest?).  My weidu.log is a mess, so I'm sure something in there is horribly messing up my game.  In fact, four of my scripts are entirely corrupt  :(.

(I should mention that if there's still a huge outcry of "What the fuck, Ding0???", then yes, I can change this, since I've long forgotten why I did it in the first place. Clearly if it's causing confusion it isn't something I should be doing just for the fun of it.)

It really threw me the first time (apparently, reading the entire ReadMe when there's a new version is not a bad idea), but once I figured out there was just a delay, it made so much more sense that way.

Having Meronia spawn the instant the Xzar thing happens is a really a bit on the dumb side.

Also, Meronia spawning is always delayed a couple of days if you're romancing Jaheira. It's only instantaneous if you're not in the romance (also kinda stupid).

Quest Pack adds a two-day timer before Meronia spawns. This is noted in the readme. I must decline ball-sucking this time around.

Oh, drat!

Anyway, yeah, I'm not sure I see the reason for the timer either. The romance already takes so long to complete, yet another timer on  it seems a bit unnecessary.

The change does seem to be rather poorly received.  :(

I uninstalled the Harper Quest component of this mod and the situation was resolved immediately. Meronia spawned immediately as I loaded the game (party in Trademeet) and summoned Jaheira, who left with her. One rest later, Jaheira returned to the party and told me I should go see Galvarey. So, uh, yes, you appear to have made quite a big mess on that Harper Quest. Sorry to say, but that really, REALLY sucked monkey balls.

Further info: I went to the Druid Grove and spawned Meronia (JAMERONI) and her dialogue with Jaheira proceeded normally. Jaheira left the group, BUT didn't escape area and remained standing there. I went to Athkatla and rested at the inn, Jaheira is supposed to rejoin the group after resting once and summon you to meet Galvarey. She didn't show up after the rest, I think she's still standing at the Druid GRove with a blue circle at her feet.

I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but... something is a bit off with Jaheira romance. In an unmodded game, once the Xzar quest and the Bandit encounter are done with, Meronia spawns (outdoors) to summon Jaheira to the Harper Hold and start the whole Galvarey thing.

Now, I did Xzar quest (Meronia gave me the bird which I delivered to the unsuspecting Xzar - what a distasteful choice for the Good PC's!), and also the bandit quest - I also was outdoors at the time, and I thought Meronia should spawn immediately as she always does - but it didn't happen. Is it because of the Quest pack there are changes to this? Does siding with Harpers in the Xzar quest change something here?

Yeah, that's the exact error.  I did take a screenshot of the whole thing and offered to send it to Sim (but I don't think he's read my PM yet).  I just didn't fancy typing the whole thing out by hand.  That probably would've helped.   :)

Ah, OK, checked. There is an error, however you left it out  :)

the error report was (I presume)
Quote
WARNING: cannot verify action ~SetGlobal("D0OgresHelpPaladins","AR1100",5)

and the error comes from the bolded '*'.

I already reported the bug in here: http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/topic,21507.0.html
