Yeah, I'm trying to get Moradan to tell me whether the characters work or not, BUT, I think it's telling that the characters in the (.txt) TRA don't look right in, say, Word, but DO look right when he sends me his Unicode version.

Can you verify that when viewed in the Polish version of BG2 it looks wrong? That European EXE may have special handling for strange characters in the character set.

Polish version? I like, I like! Now, which mods have pl versions as well? Although it sounds somewhat weird in pl - skip "prawie" and "czy":D

Wes, the Polish translation you've put in Valen has the same problem the Polish translation we're trying to use for Dungeon-Be-Gone has:

@9 = ~Wydajesz siê ca³kiem blada... prawie nienaturalnie blada. Czy jesteœ ranna?~

Note (hopefully) that there's a superscript 3 in there. That's wrong, obviously, and it shows up that way in ConTEXT as well as in game.

Our translator sent us a Unicode .tra which looks correct when loaded in, say, Word, but cannot be parsed by WeiDU.

Whatcha gonna do?
