It occurs to me that Wes may have forgotten about this, and since he expressed interest in it earlier...

Ya, I had a mind blur when reading that and confused Brega for Adris :).  I don't tend to play Clerics that often.  My apologies and my mistake :).

Adris also prolly won't react at all to the rest of the city hall going red, since he completely lacks a script.  Going to check and verify this time first heh.

Adris doesn't even care if you smack him around a bit, and I believe he has a MINHP1 item as well so you can't kill him, bonus.

Hmm, also of note with Valen, is that the Talos clergy stronghold quest is also somewhat pre-empted by having Valen in your party. Specifically for Ti'Vael and Cortirso steps. Brega needs to be talked to (and misled) for these quests.
Not true.  You talk to someone called Inspector Ardis, who Valen doesn't react to.  You'd need to avoid walking past him and speaking to Brega, perhaps (I'm not sure how Ardis would react to the rest of City Hall going hostile), but you don't need to interact with Brega in any way for the Temple of Talos quests.

However, I could ask something like "Are you an Anti-Paladin?" for Evil Berserkers (which is what APs look like) and trust the player to give the right answer.
I'm reminded of a quote from one of our great works of American cinema...

"Ray, if someone asks you if you're a god, you say 'YES!'"

Hmm, is it possible to have a kit set a local variable?  Or as part of the initial creation effect?

That could be a way to do it without prompting player forgery.

Depending on how easy this would be to code, of course...if it's not too much trouble...I would suggest that it would be good to have the Anti-Paladin get the Cleric (Temple of Talos) stronghold, instead of the Fighter stronghold, because 1) the Fighter stronghold rewards the PC for being a benevolent ruler while the Temple of Talos stronghold is the only one that actively encourages wickedness, and 2) Valen interferes with getting the Fighter stronghold (unless you kick her out at certain key moments, of course--but this means using OOC knowledge).

Lovely idea. Remind me to do something about this. The problem is that it is very hard to identify the AP kit in Triggers. However, I could ask something like "Are you an Anti-Paladin?" for Evil Berserkers (which is what APs look like) and trust the player to give the right answer.
