I noticed that the 'display string' effect in both of these items don't function properly (that is, the 'undead destroyed' string is never displayed).

I experimented with the extension headers, and have come to the conclusion that this effect only works when *not* attached to an EFF file (ie. the effect is added directly to the item).  Obviously, this is not an acceptable solution since the string then gets displayed on every creature that failes the -4 death save, not just undead.

Any ideas?

BTW, the improved Azuredge still has the item colors of the old Azuredge (the fearsome pink hue).

Interestingly, recreating the same effects (display string, slay) using a spell effect works perfectly well.  Strange.
