Question on Improved Encounters

Are there more Improved Encounters as you play more games?  This may sound silly but in the last couple of games there are suddenly more and different ones than there have been previously, like imps (or something) at the portal from the first dungeon to the second one, and extremely well protected drow near the Iron Globe in the Underdark.  Just wondered - Edythe

I don't remember about the imps next to the portals, but there is a reference regarding improved encounters in the Solarom read me file, isn't there?

I think the Imps are because of the Improved Ilyich mod. I haven't met the drow yet. Occasionally, he'll add stuff like the Improved Sahuanin and Improved Irenicus to Solafein, so yes, the newer the version, the more encounters.
