Cut Wish Thingy?

UU posted this on the Gibberling Three forum:

Ok, here's a legitimate suggestion for tweek packs...

ok, i am a naughty cheater...once i noticed that among the wish spells, one option is "SPWISH09" which is globe of blades...

curious, i gave that to my pc, and cast it on myself...

i got the globe of blades!!! i suspect its a wish spell option that was removed, but it is part of the original spell options for wish...and i'd love to see it put back...

what do you think???

true, its cheesy...imagine a sorc walking around with mislead or staff of magi with a globe of blades humming...but hey, cheesy is my middle name...

There were probably more smilies in the actual post, but they don't copy properly.

Looks like this idea has been scrapped by the UB team, or else there would be more attention. Anyways, I would be glad if this were restored. :)

Actually... I don't think I've seen this post before.  Sorry, Sim!  :(

I'll add it to my "To-Do" list.

Investigation reveals that there are a ton of cut SPWISH spells, which it'd be cool to restore.

Some of them are permanent stat increses. I'd suggest allowing a one-off increase to one stat only.

I like that. Provides an 'antidote' for the newbie who didn't know he was going to have to sacrifice a stat point in Spellhold (or was roleplaying that he didn't), etc.

I'd like to see this put into an upcoming release, but it's beyond my coding abilities (and attention) at the moment.  If anyone's bored and looking for something to do, have at it.  :)
