I wonder if the number of female pictures means that the female community is larger than Bioware thought, or that women are less concerned with hiding themselves online than men?
I'd have to say: probably a bit of both  ;)

The album has now been updated to include BigRob and BevH - thanks to you both!! :D

Another photo has been added to the album, thanks to Icelus's picture-getting skills, and Meira sharing her very cool and atmospheric portrait. I've also now properly uploaded all the updated pages so that you don't skip BigRob and BevH when you're browsing in slide mode, and I've fixed a typo with St. Jo's picture. (doh!)

Poor Torn and his couch are all by themselves on page 4 - won't someone take pity and send their picture so he'll have company?

Welll this is just so cool!  :)  I love seeing what people look like in real like.

By the way, sorry my pic is so blurry but it was the best one I could find that I all ready had on my hard drive.  If I ever get any better ones, I'll replace it.

I'll send in a pic as soon as I get around to scanning one in which could take awhile.

That will be great, Tinuviel!

I've now updated the album to include jester and rreinier - thanks to them! - and who knows how many pictures Icelus has corralled while I wasn't paying attention!

:D
well.. I was mixing my own thoughts in there, but obviously can't speak to (about) the whole community.  Personally, I got over myself a long time ago, and I'm fairly sure there are more women that RPG than bioWare thinks. 'course, I hate bioWare.. so there.  Interesting how my answer it still 'a bit of both', eh?  :P

Let's go a little further with the second part of that: bioWare will do whatever it is they think will make them they most money; I do believe, however, that the majority of gamers are in their late teens to early twenties and male.  Teen angst, I remember well.

But, what does more female pictures in this photo album have to do with the number of female gamers in the (this) community?  I think there are probably more males than females, still, and ..the old album, iirc, had men and women equally.  Ultimately, it depends on the individual as to whether or not they're sending a pic in.  Was that enough babble for you?  ;D

Speaking of which, Quitch, where's yours?  :-*

Isn't it? I think there's some resemblance to her avatar between her facial features and expression. Very cool.

I think we'd all be disturbed if you were really a bouncing rainbow blob, Alarielle. Lucky us, you aren't!

I'm going to tackle getting the computer to recognize the scanner this weekend and it will also be the first time I've used a scanner before.  Wish me luck!! ;D

I firmly believe that there are a lot more female gamers around than the Computer games industry acknowledges.  However I have noticed that the quantity of female playtesters listed in game credits has increased.  Perhaps the industry cannot see what is right under their noses!

 ;D

When will people realise that writing a question on a forum is actually more effort than simply typing something into a search engine?  ::)

But thats where you are mistaken NiGHT, I actually get my personal secretary to right this. Actually everything that you read from me were words coming from my mouth as my secretary typed them down.

Say hi Judith. No, don't type that. Stop! Seriously stop! Stop or your fired! Damn, I can't fire you, I don't have the money to buy a new secretary. Just say hello!

Hi, I'm Judith.

That's better, now press Post.

I'm sure you're aware of that little think called selective hearing?  Well this is selective sight.  The thing more disturbing to me is the female names in the games production credits.
