A tall, lush figure emerged from the darkness of the nearby alley, garbed in a scarlet robe with gold trim that did nothing to hide the near nakedness of the woman beneath.  A cascade of long, auburn hair fell across her left shoulder, and tentatively covered her lush, full breast.

Is there anything about this lady that ain't lush? ;)

I knew it was Edwina! The simian reference gave it away. The inclusion of Abdel Adrian was also a plus. I want more of this story, and as fast as I can get it--short piece be damned. Edwina in a party full of men? This is gonna be fun!
I've given up on the light of good.

Ugh, thanks Pirengle.  I thought I had edited the extra lush out, but I guess not on the copy I pasted.

Heh, I have to give a major thumbs up in Cliffette's direction since she spotted the piercing on the eyebrow, except I accidentally left brow off, saying, "a piercing in the eye..."  Ouch.

Heh, and yes, I was sure people would figure it out before too long who it was.  I mean, Edwin/Edwina isn't exactly subtle.

I will see what I can come up with, though truthfully, it was meant as a one shot.

A one shot? I missed that! No, you have figure out some adventure for this crew, Bri. You've teased us with the setup, now you must actually go somewhere with them. That one part leaves things incomplete, and the single post will be morose moldering away in its thread by its lonesome. Write it some playmates! You know, when you're not working on Del or living your life.  ;)

Newt had always suspected that people who regularly used the word "community" were using it in a very specific sense that excluded him and everyone he knew.

Heh, well, I did leave it open to continuing it if the inspiration takes me, though that wasn't conscious.  As I mentioned, someone who perused it asked, "Just how did Boo save Edwina?"

If it comes to me, then I will do so.  I promise.

Ah, I recognise Bri's colorful storytelling style.  :) My personal favorite joke here is:

"Haer Dalis'" grunted Edwin, "The nether realms contribution to a plane that neither wanted nor desired him."

I liked the set up and I too join the line of the ones who want to see if anything happened next. After all, there is a chance that Boo's turn to wear the purple hat will strike...

Thanks Domi.  I will try to come up with something, but things have been very busy, and school doesn't let out until the 18th of May (the last day of finals).

Hmm, I can picture Boo wearing that.  After all, if I can envision him polymorphing into the shape of Jaheira's Khalid, then he is capable of anything.

My only comment is that a new title might be something you want to look into. This one is...A little misleading.

Agreed.  Originally I had plans to include Keldorn in a longer role in this but the way the story came out didn't allow it for the first part.

I think you missed what I meant. I meant that "A Day's Hard Knight" sounds like the story is bad Fan Fiction Porn.

He-he I think Bri is aware of that judging from the AN in the beginning of the story.  :D

Hmm, didn't catch that one at all, but then again I've seen the Beatles movie far too many times to make the other association.

Would it be Bri if her title didn't contain innuendo?  ;D

This story amuses and disturbs me in equal parts, though you know that already  ;)

I won't deny that the same Beatle's bit ran through my mind too Caedwyr.
