EET Bug: Xan still thinks we're in hell in TOB
« on: February 07, 2018, 07:41:50 AM »
Hi, can't seem to get around this bug I've been having unfortunately with my EET install (via BWS). After loading into the TOB portion of EET, if I try and force talk Xan he says 'No. We are in Hell, and I am as frightened as you are...'

Once we actually get past the first fight in TOB and we're teleported back to hell after the first chat with Solar/Sarevok, he then constantly initiates dialogue with CHARNAME and states that dialogue over and over :(

Just a small update - I've had a look in EE Keeper just to check the variables - O#XANENTERINGHELL1 was set to 1 on my save file. Setting it 2 seems to have solved the issue. Only thing I'm worried about is whether there are other variables that should have kicked in at the end of TOB? Although force talking to Xan he refers to his duel in Suldanessellar so seems ok?

The mod is not officially EET compatible yet, unfortunately. You are likely playing a version made compatible via the BWPFixpack. Your report is noted, though. Thank you for letting us know!

Well I've just finished my playthrough and happy to report for the most part it's a fairly bug free conversion despite not being officially compatible! The only other bug I think I encountered in addition to the one above was during the Swamp scene with Xan's sister? Basically she would shout 'brother!' and then the dialogue would end immediately. Xan would jump and say ignore what she said etc. but the ghost just stands there doing nothing. It didn't prevent me from progressing so I just walked past her :) Really enjoyed the mod! Thank you for making it
