Gaider and Beamdog

What does this mean? Anything? Nothing? Baldur's Gate 3? The completion of the long awaited Valygar romance mod?

Bad news for Bioware, I think - he's a great writer and it's a pity there'll be none of his characters in Bioware games.

As for Beamdog, I'm not sure - I mean, I'm 146% positive I'll buy any Bioware game, but I'm... not as positive about other companies. Also, whatever they create - if it's not in one of the newest engines, it probably won't last. I mean, it can be Pillars-of-Eternity-good, but even my friends don't recommend that to me in good faith; and almost everyone recommends Dragon Age:Inquisition.

(I've sort of integrated everything planned by David Gaider for Valygar - from the Attic and leftover ToB lines - into my own mods, I think).

My apologies, I did know about your Valygar mod.

It would be nice if Gaider's arrival at Beamdog did improve the writing a bit although I really haven't played the games and I am not very familiar with all their characters. The little I know of their characters didn't make a wildly great I impression.

It will be interesting to see what impact he can have at Beamdog.

All I know atbout their new offering sounds much like the original content in the BG ee series.
