Ease of Use question
« on: October 09, 2012, 04:37:00 AM »
Hi all,

I've dusted off my old BG2 boxset and installed it.

SoA, ToB, ToB official patch, G3 Fixpack.

As far as I remember Ease Of Use component allowed multi-class characters to have grandmastery? I installed the tweak but it doesn't work. Any tips?

Hmm, where did you install the game to... as the newer Operation Systems(Windows XP sp2&3, Windows Vista & Windows 7) have this idiocity to protect the Program Files -folders and any other derividives of that folder.
The only cure to actually get to modify the files that the game uses is to install the game to outside the said folder, say to C:\Games\BGII - SoA\ ...

Erhm, there's something faulty going on here, I am not this Xen person even though I can edit his posts ! :O

Indeed, and install the patch and mods again. The funny thing is, the patch you installed is not actually installed as the OS protects the files from that too...
