Installation Crash
« on: July 29, 2012, 11:49:34 AM »
I got v13 and tried to install in a clean new BG dir (the goal is to get a BGT working)
when I run the installation I get this:

[setup-bg1ub] WeiDU version 23100
ERROR: Cannot perform auto-update, going ahead anyway!
Sys_error("setup-bg1ub: No such file or directory")
[setup-bg1ub] Using scripting style "BG1"

Choose your language:
0 [English]
1 [Deutsch]
2 [Espanol]
3 [Frannais]
4 [Italiano]
5 [?youFatal error: exception Sys_error("Invalid argument")

E:\Games\BG1>

weidu stuff seems to work fine in general, only UBv13 did this so far
I got the file 3 times again btw...
Any clues?

The installation should be run in your BGII-directory after BGT is installed. Looks like you are trying to install the mod on BG1 which isn't supported.

Indeed I do, thanx a lot for the help!
Apart from fixes and tweaks Im going to add TDD also (mostly for the kits actually), should I install it on bg2 Before installing BGT or after?
I know there is BWP and guides and lists and such for all mods, just a quick hint if somebody has tried and working ok please

The Big World Project PDF recommends installing TDD before BGT.
