CLUA Console and Windows 7
« on: October 28, 2011, 01:15:26 PM »
I've been absolutely pulling my hair out over this trying to get the CLUA console to activate by changing the baldur's gate ini file in the normal location but nothing seemed to work. After a bit of googling I've found that the Baldur's Gate Ini file is actually located in the following location when installed on Windows 7.

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\BaldursGateTutu

Anyway thought I would share this info just in case anyone else was going mad like me :)

Good stuff - but to save yourself massive troubles later on, the best way to deal with this is to *not* install to /programs (x86)/ but instead install anywhere else. That way, you don't get problems when you try to add a mod, and Windows virtualization stops you from being able to access the content...
