berserker lvl 1 always dies after enraging?

Maybe I am not understanding the kit description properly, but when a berserker finishes his enraged cycle, should he take extra damage? My level one berserker not only loses his 15 HP bonus, but then he takes another 15 HP damage on top of that, meaning that he basically will always die after enraging even if he takes no damage from enemies while enraged, as he has only 14 HP.

Are you by any chance playing on Insane difficulty? You take double damage from everything, including the berserk penalty.
