You wouldn't believe this! (reply numbers)
« on: February 05, 2011, 09:46:15 AM »
I've been playing BG2 for years - and modding it, too. Naturally, I viewed thousands of banters, chose thousands of replies and so on.

BUT I did this all using a mouse.

Today a friend told me: "Hey, why do you have to drag your mouse pointer across the screen every time? Why can't you press 1 or 2 or 3 on the keyboard to choose the first/second/third reply?"
"Hmm," I thought. Then I chose "3", and voila! The third reply worked.

Took me ten years, too.

Using the mouse rather than numbers and enter is a good habit (if you progress too quickly in a conversation, sometimes actions aren't executed, as explained E.G. in the Turnabout readme).
