Sorcer spell selection screen not appearing

This is the first time I've played tutu as a sorcerer. Upon advancment to level 2 I did not get the spell selection screen; the only noticable change being increased hit points (I assume thaco changed as well.) I tried it again from a recent save with the same result. Is this a bug? Are there levels where sorcerers do not choose new spells? I did a brief search for this topic and didn't see any relevant replys. Probably there are some, and if so I apologize for thee olde redundant post. EDIT: I just noticed there being a tutu bug board... I'l; post this there and if anyone wants to go ahead and delete this post

There are levels when sorcerers do not choose new spells, yes, they just get more "castings" of the old spells.

Thanks. It has indeed increased from 3 available spells to 4...
