Make a choice: Modlist: BGII Mods and Patches.

If you are looking for recommendations it helps to know what kind of mods you prefer.

Get the Big World Project guide to read up on mods, the Big World Setup program to install automatically the ones you want, and knock yourself out.

Do i have to install BG2 and TOB like this  for the addons to work? Or that is old info?

1) Install Shadows of Amn.
2) Install Throne of Bhaal, if applicable.  DO NOT install the Shadows of Amn patch.
3) Install the Throne of Bhaal patch.
4) Install the Baldurdash fixpack for Throne of Bhaal.
5) Install up to one non-WeiDU mod.
6) Install any desired WeiDU mods.
7) Play.

That is basically true, only that you have the choice between Baldurdash fixpack or the BG1Fixpack from GibberlingsThree, and some of the former non-WeiDU mods are weiduised now, so checking for the current versions is recommended (as always).
For the (WeiDU) mods, it is recommended to install Tweaks last.
