I have read that the Big World Patch solves the problem with this part of the mod. However, I have not installed the Big World Project as I hve installed UB with Tutu.
Is there a problem using the Tutu installation as I have been unable to complete this quest.

I am not sure what you are asking here. Does this deal with BG1UB with NTotSC, or just BG1UB?
I think what you are trying to say is the Shilo Chen quest doesn't work properly on a vanilla BG1UB installed on EasyTutu. Could you confirm? Could you also post the textual contents of your WeiDU.log file?

So far, there were requests 9 months ago to re-allow the Shilo Chen component to work with NTotSC because the Shilo in NTotSC was being revamped in some way. I have not been informed about where things stand today. If the plan remains to revamp Shilo in NTotSC, then the BG1UB Shilo Chen will remain as it is currently.

In BG1UB, the quest plays out like a simple go-kill-em quest.
1. You talk to Shilo Chen, who tells you to go and kill some ogre magi
2. You kill them
3. You talk to Shilo Chen, who rewards you
