DLTCEP - Surely everything can't be read only!?

I'm sure i'm doing something incredibly stupid, but i just can't get DLTCEP to work properly (it's my first time  ).

Every time i attempt to save anything i get the error:

Warning
You opened it read only!

This happens even if i don't open anything, just make a new .cre, .itm etc, attempt to save it and this error occurs!?

I don't get it...

This question may be answered in igi's DLTCEP guide, but i don't know since TeamBG is down and i can't look at it. Just to prevent people from pointing this out to me.

Well you got it working which is better than most, who just give up at the first hurdle. DLTCEP has the option to open everything read-only, to turn it off follow these steps:

Settings -> Change Settings -> (Profile Name) -> You should now be in the current settings screen. On the right, about half way down is a Global Preferences section. Uncheck the read-only box.

Heh, it's taken me a while to make this step, i've been stubbornly using IEEP and Creature Maker for quite some time, but many irritating errors/lacking features mean i've made the switch.
