Y key?
« on: September 18, 2009, 12:47:24 AM »
So uh. I was trying to install a component that I chose not to install earlier in the BG2 fixpack. In order to get there, obviously, I had to hit 'n' alot, for no change. Well, once I accidently hit 'y' - which isn't supposed to do anything. And it uninstalled everything. Everything. Including Baldur's Gate Trilogy. It did not reinstall them as if removing a component, it just uninstalled everything. Then it proceeded to ask me if I wanted to reinstall the next component. I hit quit, and /THEN/ it reinstalled everything.

Is there some sort of command I can enter, or setting I can change, to put in some sort of layer of protection so I don't somehow accidentally do this again? Perhaps something in an ini file somewhere which will ask it to confirm before hideously messing everything up?

Y works the same as I. No dumb-proof ini setting or anything, either.
