A quick question about TotSC..
« on: July 09, 2009, 11:43:38 PM »
Alright, so, I installed Baldur's Gate, installed BG1TUTU, and then saw TotSC for sale. I bought it, installed it, and couldn't figure out how to install it onto my BG1Tutu game without doing a complete uninstall. Is there a way to do it?

Hey,

Welcome to PPG. I'm afraid you'll have to do a complete reinstall, you got it right. Good luck with it.

If your using EasyTutu you can create multiple copies, the last one installed is the one that gets targeted by the registry when you do decide to uninstall later. But I'm getting ahead of my self.

You can re-run the EasyTutu setup after you have properly installed ToTSC and patched it onto your BG1 game.  Just make sure that you tell the EasyTutu installer to save the Tutu with ToTSC into a different directory than your current version without ToTSC.

If you are using Tutu v4 (for non-English players), I'm sorry you'll have to uninstall your Tutu game and re-install after ToTSC has been successfully installed and patched.
