Crash at Bridge

While walking into the bridge districts, after you see the pile of corpses that the commoners comment on, I see a mage in red clothing and the screen changes as though it's going into a cutscene. After that I get the chdatatypes.cpp line 250 error. I'm guessing it's the Kalah quest expansion that's causing this. Anyone know how to solve it?
