Having problem with mod install

I can't find the answer to this on any forum.

ERROR: Unable to find DIALOG.TLK in: dialog.tlk Please run this program in your Infinity Engine game directory.

This is a partial error message for the Fade Character mod.
I have installed it on the BGII-SoA in it's own folder(i doubt this is the problem, but maybe)
dialog.tlk is installed on the same game folder.
the game isn't running currently

I am taken to a DOS window upon trying to use the .exe file, and am told to install the Infinity Engine.

Anyone have an answer?

This is the problem.  Move all files up one level.

The DBG .exe should be installed to the BGII-SoA folder, not in a folder of its own.  It needs to be in the same folder as dialog.tlk (which is in the main folder).  The same thing holds true of all weidu mods.

I've got a fresh ToB install with Baldurdash Fixpack. DBG is the only mod I grabbed. Installed just fine, no errors, mod just won't run.
