GUESS WHO'S BANNED?

This morning I remembered that, besides PPG, G3 and Studios, there are other modding forums, nefarious and quiet. Seems I was right about "nefarious" part: when I typed
http://forums.chosenofmystra.net/index.php, I got

An Error Has Occurred!
Sorry Kulyok, you are banned from using this forum!

("Sorry Kulyok" instead of "Sorry, Kulyok" - meaning they can't even type properly. But never mind that).

So... It's not the 1st of April, right?

Sorry about that Kulyok. We have had a number of spam/porn bots in the last few days and one of our administrators did a *.ru on our ban triggers which meant anyone with .ru extension was banned. We will be more specific when it comes to e-mail and host name triggers. Sorry about the mix up.

So, that's how it came I was unable to register on the old CoM. Two years later the mystery is finally unravelled.
