Pressing K. How about not?
« on: May 10, 2009, 07:23:18 PM »
First of all, nice job on this mod. I decided to give Kelsey a shot on this playthrough, and I must admit, he's really starting to grow on me.

Now, the problem at hand: I'm used to the scsii script and its bindings. I use it for all my characters. The ranged-only mode is bound to the letter K, the same as Kelsey's debug, which means that I can't turn it on. Ever.

Is there a way around this?

Deactivate party AI.

It seems my original post wasn't clear enough.

It's not the debug bind that I want to use. It's the script one. I want to turn on the no-melee mode for Kelsey (for obvious reasons).

Turning AI off doesn't help. Pressing K still "debugs" Kelsey, instead of activating the script mode.

Oh. In that case, you should open scsii/misc/0dw#gen.baf using wordpad, and replacing HotKey(K) with whatever key you would like to use for no-melee mode (there should be two instances of that line) and then re-installing scsii.
