Looks good.

I didn't spot anything wrong in the dialogue, but it still sounds like it could use proofreading.

It's probably messed-up punctuation in addressing. Yeah, it makes a bad impression, so fixing it is a good idea: "I don't know, Jerrod," "You should know, Prelate, that he never accepted Jerrod's offer, even if didn't he reject it."

Quote
By the way, I don't think that the Prelate would arrest Decius on the spot: Decius might have tried to gather more information not to take part in Jerrod's illicit trade, but rather to have more proofs for later accusing Jerrod. (but then again, the Prelate will have some means of figuring out wether Decius's true motives).

That's an interesting one. I agree.

I did!

Aside from some typos here and there, something feels wrong with Nalia's interjection. I don't think she's the type to use the phrase "level with you"; for that matter, I'm not sure any of the characters are the type to use it. It sounds too modern. In addition, I submit that it is impossible to begin a sentence with the word "Wow", omit an exclamation mark at the end and not run the risk of the reader taking it as sarcasm. Mind you, Nalia doesn't think very highly of the Order, so I suppose it could be just that. Either way, a little more clarity wouldn't go amiss.

Also, don't use the phrase "Such as this" without something preceding it. "Treachery such as this" is fine. Just "Such as this" on its own is not, in the context that you were using it for Edwin.

Fair criticisms, but I'll be the first to admit my grammar and use of punctuation aren't perfect. As for Nalia, I thought "Wow!" would convey far more enthusiasm than intended (she wasn't shouting it), and as for my use of "level with you" I suppose it may be too modern. In the case of Edwin, he was referring to corruption within an order of paladins.

Also, in a first draft I'm more concerned with producing something workable - that I think has potential, than writing perfect classroom english.

I'll echo the chorus of "These are some good quest ideas." One thing I did notice, though: You mentioned adding more content for Paladins . . . and then (write smaller) for LG Fighters and Priests of Helm as well. Personally, I feel the game is already slanted enough towards Good without anyone increasing the tilt, so I was gratified to see you exploring the Fallen Paladins angle as well.

Re: Class- and Kit-specific material: In general, I think it's a good way of helping to keep one game distinct from the next, though of course one can go too far. One has to marry credibility (e.g., a true-class Monk or Druid would not be offered a counting-house as their Stronghold) with players' ease of seeing the new content, to find a happy medium. So, I say you should go ahead and make the main quests class-specific (those who don't like it already have Multi-Strongholds installed anyway), and make the subquests marginally kit-specific: Those not of that kit can still take that quest, but a) only by having to navigate a more complex conversation tree, b) only if they have the right stats for it, and/or c) only by giving up another quest so they can do this one instead.

And what's this about the Paladin and Cleric strongholds being the shortest and dumbest? Haven't you guys ever played a Druid?  :P

This looks like a great idea to me. Always been a fan of Paladins, and I agree that the Pally quests aren't exactly the greatest as they stand now.

Just so everyone knows: Knights of the Order is being temporarily shelved in favor of another project, details of which will be revealed shortly.

Said project actually began when jcompton told me something along the lines of "before you commit to the knights of the order mod, try and make something in weidu, and see if you like the process". I decided to try my hand at making the first Knights of the Order quest, but soon discovered such things are easier said than done.

With that in mind I embarked on a mini mod project that would educate me on Weidu, but it has since evolved into a larger project... stay tuned.  ;)

If your new idea isn't as good, I will abuse you. This has potential, and in spite of the fact that you probably don't know who I am, that's quite a rare thing to hear.

However, while I don't mind some followup on his now-without-a-cause followers, I would be inclined to discourage the Undead Firkraag thing: we already fight every villain in the game about 5 times.

Glad you like it  ;D
As for arena, its not as good an idea, but its simpler and an easier first project.

DDV hasn't been here since November 10th.  I'd say mod over.

If Knights is abandoned you'll hear about it here and from me, but until then consider it in progress.

Hi DDV, so is there any news for Knights of the Order? And how's the Copper Coronet project progressing?

This sounds like a great idea and I would definately be up for playing it if/when it ever gets completed.  Here's to hoping it comes about!  Any news about it?
