A few hours ago, I was seeing off some of my friends, and their mother told me: "I totally abandoned my job in these last two days! I'm no longer sure if I want this vacation, even!"
"Er, why?" asked Kulyok, whose motto has always been "Vacation is the second best thing in the world. The best thing is not having to work in the first place."
"Because we've been watching House M.D.! It's incredible, I lost all track of time, we've been watching it for hours!"
"You mean, it's better than stuff like X-Files and Babylon 5? But it's not even
fantasy, right? It's about
real life?"
"Um, not quite. Look, you've got to see it - then you'll see."
"Hmm," I thought and then promptly forgot about it, as my lasagna arrived.
Three hours later, though, I decided to check it out(mostly because there was nothing interesting in LiveJournal, and I hate working on weekends). I opened
Youtube.
Man.
I'm going to watch Season 1 first thing tomorrow. From dawn till dusk... I mean, from start to finish. Work? What work?
