No, really, I think this is the Ultimate Mod.

Attempting to improve upon it would be futile.

I think this is a step in the right direction.

Delcia is just too annoying to pretend I like this idea.

Shame about Hendak, though. Ze vimin would've loved it.  ;D

How about adding Ajantis and Montaron to Turnabout?  New content is as good as a new project, I say.

Delcia? Obviously no age discrimination at PPG!! Elminster Romance ftw.

You're sure you don't want to write an Elminster Romantic Encounter mod? :) This was good.

Come to think of it, there’s very little explanation for any of this quest at all. Who’s Vallah? How’d he get his hand cut off? What does he have to do with those two skeletons, and why does “The blood of a true friend” enter into the equation? Did someone murder Vallah's friend? Perhaps it was Vallah himself, in a foolish act of betrayal that he came to regret? Moreover, how did Lilarcor or the mysterious presence or whoever’s pulling the strings on this one manage to take possession of Quallo?

It’s a shame, really. It almost seems as though Lilarcor was originally going to be one of those legendary, must-get weapons with an elaborate and interesting background, but for whatever reason the idea was nixed halfway through and they just made it into the annoying, comic relief talking sword that we know and would despise but for that delicious mind shield it offers.

Nevertheless, the mystery behind Lilarcor might be an interesting avenue for the creators of custom BGII content to explore. Hint hint, modders.

I wasn't being entirely serious when I said that, but hey, why not?

Unless I've misunderstood and you're looking for someone to actually step up and say "I am making a new mod, give me a forum" rather than simple suggestions.

Oh come on, older women can be very sexy!  Might reveal a totally different side of, the maligned, Delcia.(Maybe too much revealing for some! :) )  A nice little Mrs Robinson style mod with crossmod content with the de'Arnise romance.  :pirate

@Lorph Halys - I think the, "I am making a new mod and need a forum", is what is being asked for.  Although I'll venture a guess that something at least partially realized would be preferable.

Elminister drew out his long brown pipe. "Tis true, it is not as impressive perhaps as Khelben's Black Staff", he said sadly. "But I'm told the emissions are most impressive."

If none of you clowns step up, I'm gonna start writing a Baronius romance.  Ladies, what could be more sexier than having a romance with the Hungarian Paprika, the embodiment on the principle of modding?

heh now that you mentioned about this mod

I'd actually want to see how it goes  ;D

Umm... What about Renald de Chatellion... (how to spell it???)

He seems to be ideal to join the group as a Paladin

And I kinda miss Dynaheir's "Thou thy thee art -est -eth" old english, perhaps he'll become old school after joining the party : D?

What an idea! It took me two days to remember who Delcia was. Now I can't get that idea of a romance out of my head.. gods! I think that's what you are trying to accomplish, jcompton, yes? You are mean.

What we're trying to accomplish is very simple:

"You can host your mod(or unreleased project) here".

The question is, will it happen, or will there be a Hendak Romance with BDSM elements, all voiced by Jasper the St. Baird?

I have a number of ideas for new mods, but I have them on the back burner for now.  But, if you do want to replace the Delcia Caan romance idea with another bizarre one, I have the perfect one.  I know at least some would groan at it.  Then again, there would probably be some who'd want to see my idea become an actuality...  Dare I mention it?

How about a Romantic Encounter with Cespenar, for a mage's familiar? :)

I've always liked the feeling of immensity the BG series gave me. Turnabout brought us more epilogue screens which made me very nostalgic, especially the ones that mentioned the places I visited in the first game - and I realized that I sorely missed the wide roaming of BG in BGII - the thrill of visiting a place without knowing what would be there. Many of of the areas in BG were unnamed, and were only accessible by traveling in the correct direction from an adjacent area. That was adventuring - looking for trouble and thrills in the bush - not like the overall quest-driven trotting-about in BGII, where I very much felt pulled along on a string.

You guys (speaking of all modders here) have expanded BGII very much, as well as bringing BG up to BGII's standards - graphics/engine, banter, NPC's, romance, ect. These were places where BG was lacking. Now I feel it would be fitting to bring BGII up to BG's standards, in the places where BGII is lacking. Bring the adventure back :)

EDIT: I see that it has been discussed before, other places, but my suggestion still stands :P

I think you are aiming too low with Lady Delcia's Romance, JC. Whatever happened to your Shadows of Balm saga, the TC that allows the Bhaalspawn to win BG-ToB purely by seduction and redemption?
