TuTu Tweak component not working
« on: August 04, 2007, 03:49:25 PM »
One of the Tutu tweak components, 'Weapon Styles For All', does not appear to be working for me. My Paladin can still only put two pips in a weapon skill for instance.  I am using various components from Tutu Tweaks, TutuFix, DingO's Tweak Pack, and the Tutu version of Unfinished Business. So either one of these mods is conflicting with that component or I am misunderstanding what 'Weapon Styles For All' is supposed to be doing. Can someone help? Thank you.

Tutu Tweaks has been superceded by BG2 Tweaks.  And I believe that component only affects weapon styles (Sword & Shield, Two Weapon style) not proficiencies.

Well, it seems that the BG2 tweaks do not really work for Tutu. I've installed space-saving EasyTutu and the Tweaks, and the one Tweak that is most important to does not affect Tutu. I want the BG1 weapon group proficiencies with BG2 combat style proficiencies! While I like almost everything in BG2 very much, I really dislike those single weapon profs.
Now, if I start BG2 regularly and create a new character, I get offered the weapon groups, as chosen in the tweak setup. But if I start Tutu and create a new character, all I can choose from are the single weapon profs.

Does anyone know how to change this, preferably without reinstalling everything (though I would do that if necessary - after all right now Tutu is doing the opposite of what I wanted it for).

Uh, just forget it. By now I noticed that I have to install the same Tweakpack twice, once for Tutu and once for ToB. Nevermind.
