Dialogue Missing in tactics encounters

I have this very annoying bug with Tactics encounters which blanks out all the dialogue with the Tactics characters. I can only press continue untill the ' dialogue' is done. Also, the names of some of these characters are blank when you scroll over them, so you don't see how damaged they are.

I tried reinstalling the tactics mod but to no avail. Anybody have any suggestions?

Welcome to PPG,

 - do not install mods with baldur's gate\shadowkeeper running in the background
 - install Tactics/mods after the official patch, not before

Try quitting BG2/all other BG2-related programs, uninstalling Tactics and installing it again. If you installed the official patch after mods, reinstall.

Thanks for the quick reply Kulyok but it still isn't working correctly. In fact, I found out that even none tactics associated characters have been corrupted and I fear the further I go into the game the more such errors I will find. I'm pretty sure the reason why it's so quirky is because I've installed various diffrent mods and whatnot, eventually there is bound to be some errors.

I think I'll just do a clean install of BG2 and be more carefull with the mods I install.
