Hello -

If you're playing in English, consider EasyTutu instead.

Otherwise, this thread may help.

Thanks for the reply!

I am using EasyTuTu

I've got full install of BG1 + Patch, TotSC + Patch, BG2 ToB + patch.

And when I click the link you had in the other post, it just shows a "Quicktime logo with a "?" on it.
I don't know how to get the file...

I tried to unistall Quicktime, and now when I cklick the link, it happens nothing, it opens in a new window,
but it is nothing on the page, just plain white.

Are you sure about this?  If this is true, you should not be installing the core bug fixes component of Tutufix.  That component is for conventional Tutu only.

Tutufix v17 won't even give you the option of installing the core bug fixes on EasyTutu.

As for the link in the other post, save the file rather than opening it.

Yeah, I'm sure. I downloaded the ToB version of EasyTuTu, and it was very easy to install.

So, I don't need to use the core bug fix ?

And about the link, I am using Firefox. And when i used IE (no-addons) it worked :)

I tried to run the TuTufix again, and skipped core bug fix. And it skipped "Journal-something" automaticly because
"TotSC is not installed", but it is... Weird...

OK.  Sorry to have doubted you, but that wouldn't have been the first time someone failed to distinguish EasyTutu from old style Tutu.

No.  What version of Tutufix are you using?  v17 is EasyTutu-sensitive and will only offer valid installation choices.

Furthermore, when using EasyTutu, nothing in Tutufix is mandatory.  Install it only if you want any of the tweaky things it offers.

I *think* I had the same problem once. I realized that I was trying to install Tutufix on my BG2 folder instead of the EasyTutu folder. Try that.

Glad I could help! :)

However, I wonder why we both did the same mistake (and I'm sure were not the only ones). Isn't there something in the way the Tutufix installer works that makes BG2 folder the default intall folder? I can't remember right now...

Probably, because that was the appropriate location in the days of conventional Tutu, when the BG2 folder was co-opted for Tutu purposes.

This is an issue that everyone must be careful of when installing mods.  Not everyone uses conventional Tutu; not everyone uses EasyTutu; even among EasyTutu users, the install location is variable.  So there really isn't an all encompassing default.

But now I've got problems with green water...

Should I not use the "3D acceleration" to get rid of it ?

Two solutions:

- turn off 3D Acceleration, or
- install degreenifier (takes a lot of space though)

@Macready

One solution:

- get rid of your competitors (regular Tutu, BGT) and set up a EasyTutu monopoly on the BG1 revamped market ;)
