Added Bloody Thoughts, an unlikely romance between Xan and... Check it out, it's good.

There are some good and great stories being updated on fanfiction.net in Baldur's Gate section(continuation of Zenith, various one-shots, etc). I like watching A Fragment of Substance a great deal - probably mentioned that already. And, yes, it's got Xan.

Added One Last Time by Eleima. Woo-hoo! (Woo-hoo meaning that the author of Xan's French translation finally succumbed to the evil, evil world of Doom and Gloom - that is, Xan-ish fanfiction).


On an unrelated note: if you haven't already, play Dragon Age - it's got quite a few interesting mage-related characters... and fanfics. I loved some Cullen and Jowan and Alistair fanfiction - maybe you will, too?

Wow, Kulyok, we can't get anything past you, can we?    It's been up for less than 24 hours!  It's probably not the best Xan fanfic out there (and it's kinda teeny, to be honest), but it just wouldn't let go and had to come out! 

As for the Dragon Age fanfics, they went from 4 to over 200 in less than a week, so I can't say I've read them all, but there's a good Cullen fanfic in there, as well as a few post-game gems.

Oh, yes. I love "What We Become", and all associated stories, myself. (But: if you haven't played Dragon Age yet, don't read any of it! Don't spoil the pleasure of your first playthrough!) There was a Chapter 17 today, but it disappeared before I was able to read it... maybe a software glitch? I'll check on it again tomorrow.

Anyway, sorry, I'm babbling. I was saying I enjoyed One Last Time, and as I do browse FF.net a great deal - both for Baldur's Gate stories and Dragon Age ones - it was a pleasure to update Xan list.

Aand check another update - this time a new Xan chapter and a new Xan scene in  A Fragment of Substance.

Totally off topic, I know, but I have to say that I absolutely **adore** "What We Become", it's just so... poignant.  But yeah, major spoilers there! 
And back on topic, I'm glad that you enjoyed "One Last Time"!!  Like I said in the little note, it's not as perfect as I had envisioned it, but I'm afraid I'll just kill it if I tweak it some more.  But if you, the creator of the Xan, NPC for BG2 mod, liked it, well, that's pretty much the ultimate seal of approval, in my eyes!

I'm doomed. Just imagine all the time I will spend on reading these stories and looking at pretty, pretty fanart. But it's pointless, we know resistance is futile. As if the mod itself didn't steal enough of my spare time.  And I dread the feeling that it doesn't stop there yet. I keep myself from writing for now, but I doubt it will last - to imagine that I merely clicked "yes" when it asked me whether I wanted Xan to be romanceable in tutu... had I but known the consequences. Oh woe is me.
